Cherie and Patrick

THE CEREMONY

FIVE O'CLOCK IN THE EVENING
9060 TROTTERS LANE
PARKLAND, FLORIDA

elevated garden attire

We are gathering at sunset in a backyard garden for an intimate candlelit dinner under the stars. Think elevated evening — cocktail dresses, midi lengths, elegant jumpsuits, or dress trousers and blazers. The ceremony and dinner take place on grass, so block heels, wedges, or flats are strongly encouraged over stilettos. Heel protectors will be available at the entrance for anyone who needs them. The evening begins warm and cools as the night goes on — a wrap or light layer is a lovely idea.

If you are looking for color inspiration, the evening palette is rich and jewel-toned — deep greens, midnight and fig, burgundy, ivory, warm gold, and dark neutral tones photograph beautifully in candlelight.

Guests are invited to arrive from 4:15 p.m. to enjoy cocktails and mingle in the garden before the ceremony begins at 5:00 p.m.

THE EVENING

SIX O'CLOCK IN THE EVENING
BACKYARD GARDEN

Immediately following the ceremony, guests are invited to a champagne toast and a moment to celebrate with the couple before we gather together at the table for an intimate candlelit dinner in the garden. The ceremony and dinner share the same space — guests will be seated at the dinner tables for the ceremony and remain there as the evening transitions into a shared meal under the stars.

Dinner begins at approximately 6:00 p.m. as the last light fades and the string lights and candles take over. We have planned an evening of unhurried conversation, good food, and the warmth of people who matter most to us. There is no formal program after the ceremony — just the pleasure of an autumn evening together.

The dinner will be served plated and the evening is expected to close around 9:00–9:30 p.m.
